This is the recently held Tagisan ng Talino (Filipino) competition last Sept. 4, 2009 where all 11 schools from District 1 of Cainta vied for the championship title in Saba yang Pagbigkas. We're a group of 20 grade 5 students who presented our craft of poem/declamation speech with strength of voice and group harmonious action. My Mom again accompanied me coz she's my official photographer lol!

Actually our school was last year's winner as SJES won the same t itle (in English) last year with my sister Ate Ruth, a grade 5 student then as one of the participants.

We're all very happy with our winning even though we really sacrificed a lot in avoiding cold drinks, fruit shakes and ice cream, the sacrifices paid off :-)

Josh' Birthday

Josh turned 6 today and we're very happy and excited because our Mom promised that we're going to Daddy's place of work and you know where my Daddy is working? His place of work is in SM North Edsa that's why we're every excited with our Mom's announcement. We finished the blowing of candles and we ate my Mom's yummy spaghetti before we set off to SM to meet Dad there!

My Wish for my little brother Josh? I wish he'll stay as sweet and charming as he is now. We're like partners because we share a lot in our books, toys and food! I just love Josh, he's so cute and funny! I'll post our SM outing on some other day!

Math Camp 2009

We had a nice and exciting time with attending Math Camp last August 7, 2009. This is my second time to join this competition and it really feels good though we're a little nervous. I was with Grade 6 student Angelica to vie for Math Trivia. My other schoolmate will compete for Math Investigation, Math Trail, Math Race, Human Calculator, Mr.& Ms. Math Camp and some other Math Challenges including Math Yell and Cheers.

We were about 3 batches of vehicles who went to Karangalan School as the school is the district center for Cainta District 1. I was happy enough that we got the 5th place in Math Trivia, it’s a difficult challenge as you’ll never know the boundaries of the trivia scope. SJES got the second place in Math Investigation, 4th in Math TRail and 3rd in Human Calculator, 4th in Math Y ell/Cheers but nothing for other competitions.

My First Day in Blogging

Wow! At last I finally made it! My Mom and Tita Redge helped me with making my first blog. You see everyday I see my Mom blogging and somehow I was inspired to have my own to share my experiences in our home, in my school, with my friends, in our church and everything about me.

I have plenty of things to share and hope I'll be able to enlighten you with my site. This will gonna be my personal diary of my simple and happy life. Stay tuned!
